LOAN REQUEST - ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM LOAN AMOUNT:
The minimum amount for Loan Requests submitted through First South's website is
$10,000.
LOCATION: Either the borrower or the asset/operation being
financed must be located within the geographical territory served by First
South, which includes:

all of Alabama and Mississippi

all of Louisiana (except Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Jackson,
Lincoln, Ouachita - west of the Ouachita River, Red River, Union, and Webster
parishes)
AGRICULTURAL INTERESTS: Borrower must have some level of
agricultural income or agricultural asset such as rural real estate or
timberland (recreational or commercial). Loan requests to finance an
agricultural asset or rural real estate are normally eligible for financing due
to their agricultural nature.
MINIMUM ACREAGE REQUIREMENT: Normally, rural real estate must
contain a minimum of 10 acres to be considered agricultural and eligible for
financing.
If your Loan Request does not meet these minimum eligibility requirements
please do not submit a request as we will be unable to process it. If your
request does meet our eligibility requirements, please complete request forms
and submit. Upon receiveing your request, we will generally run your credit
report, review your request and follow up with you to complete and finalize
your loan application.
